My name is Michael Chavez. I run SpaceRocket.Dev in San Francisco, CA. I help teams ship secure platforms faster. With twelve years of experience in software and platform engineering, including an AWS DevOps Pro certification, I have hands-on experience with EKS, ECS, CI/CD, and hardening for RHEL and Ubuntu. My focus is on continuous integration, SOC 2 compliance and FedRAMP readiness. Outside of work, I enjoy cycling the San Francisco hills, pursuing continuous self-improvement, and tinkering in my home lab.
